About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Liquor Store General Manager 1A to lead the operations of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at North Broad Street in Ridgway. As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the store while leading and developing a dedicated team.

Requirements

• One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of lead retail sales work.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a background investigation.
• No felony conviction within the last ten years of the prospective date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe and presentable environment
• Direct employees in their tasks and provide coaching to support growth
• Assist shoppers, resolve concerns, and promote positive service experiences
• Plan weekly needs and allocate inventory and staff resources
• Lead product displays and support premium merchandise sales
