About The Position

Seazar's Fine Wine & Spirits is looking for hard-working, reliable individuals with excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with the public enthusiastically. The Store Clerk will create a welcoming environment, support store operations by receiving and stocking shelves, and build customer relationships by greeting them, assisting with product location, and answering questions about products and services.

Requirements

Experience with Liquor Store operations
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have reliable transportation and be reliable and punctual.
Six months proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service/retail industry.
Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission Certification – Required
Be able to commute to the business with reliable transportation.
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
Must be able to move throughout all areas of the store including the outside perimeter.
Must be able to safely lift to 40 lbs. to waist level and bend down repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions.
Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
Manage various transactions with customers using cash registers and accurately process all cash and credit payments.
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas and perform regular store maintenance such as sanitizing, cleaning, sweeping, and mopping as needed.
Stock shelves, which may involve carrying large quantities of liquor, beer, and wine, requiring lifting/carrying merchandise up to 40 pounds.
Help with inventory counts when necessary.
Enforce all TABC and liquor laws, including checking IDs and following company policies and procedures.
Open or close the store on time in accordance with hours of operation.
Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.
