About The Position

Woody's Liquor, a locally owned liquor store in Garnett, KS, is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Clerk to join our team! This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and providing great customer service in a relaxed retail environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid state-issued ID
• High school diploma or GED
• Cash-handling experience
• Basic computer skills
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with customers
• Ability to lift and carry heavier boxes and cases of inventory

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred
• Inventory or stocking experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Help customers find products and make selections
• Operate the register and POS system
• Handle cash and customer transactions accurately
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Assist with inventory and product rotation
• Help keep the store clean, organized, and well stocked
• Receive and put away inventory as needed
• Lift and move cases of product, including stocking 30-packs in the cooler
