Requirements

Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Six months of retail sales work.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Be able to perform essential job functions.
Pass a background investigation.
No felony conviction within the last ten years of the prospective date of employment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a lead worker for a shift and guide a team of clerks.
Collaborate with the FW&GS management team to maintain a friendly, team-oriented store environment.
Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and help with loading purchases.
Record inventory counts, track product changes, and update inventory systems accurately.
Open and close the store, secure money and doors, and prepare the store for the next business day.
Operate registers, verify IDs, scan products, bag items, correct register errors, and complete deposits.
Lead staff in stocking shelves, building displays, rotating inventory, and using equipment safely.
Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff and work collaboratively to ensure a positive shopping environment.
