Requirements

• One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years of lead retail sales work
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions
• Pass a background investigation
• No felony conviction within the last ten years of the prospective date of employment

Responsibilities

• Assist shoppers with locating products and offering alternatives when items are unavailable
• Direct clerks, review their work, and ensure proper coverage for customer service and register activity
• Check merchandise levels, record counts, and update systems to address shortages or overages
• Count money, prepare deposits, and verify that all funds are correct and secure during each shift
• Open and close the store according to protocol and make sure the environment is clean and prepared for business
• Lead stocking efforts and ensure products are organized, rotated, and safely presented
