Requirements
- One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- One year of lead retail sales work
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Be able to perform essential job functions
- Pass a background investigation
- No felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage store operations during shifts and ensure all staff follow policies and procedures
- Lead and motivate staff, assign tasks, review work, and assist the General Manager with training and performance reviews
- Keep accurate records, receive shipments, stock products, and ensure displays are maintained
- Help customers locate products, answer their questions, and promote a positive shopping experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store environment
- Assist the General Manager with merchandise management, sales, cash accounting, record maintenance, and other functions
