The Receiver is responsible for checking-in vendor merchandise as it enters the store. This person's primary duties include working with the vendor, proofing the order, checking/preparing the invoice, confirming case or unit counts, performing price maintenance, recording damaged merchandise, handling returns, housekeeping in the receiving area, and organizing stock in the backroom and on the sales floor, inter-store transfers and record keeping. Additional duties include ordering, stocking, pricing, rotation, merchandising, inventory control (backstock and cycle counts), scanner maintenance, housekeeping, and customer relations on the sales floor (including showing proficient skills at suggestive selling), and may include opening and/or closing MOD responsibilities. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned. Applicant must be willing to comply with all State regulations regarding the sale of Spirituous Liquor.
