About The Position

Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together. This role is for someone looking for a career in Retail Store Operations.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
Previous retail experience.
Willing to take SIRS Certification (paid for by the Co-op).
Available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
Criminal records check may be conducted.

Nice To Haves

Experience with wine, spirits and beer in a retail setting is an asset.
Strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude.

Responsibilities

Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times.
Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment.
Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards.
Adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op Policies & Procedures and the asset protection program.
Adhere to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines.
Participate in all OH&S requirements, and be knowledgeable about the compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation.
Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery.
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source.
Other duties as assigned.
