About The Position
The Liquor Clerk position at Cub Liquor - Sun Ray involves making lasting connections with customers, accurately and efficiently ringing up purchases, and problem-solving customer inquiries. Responsibilities also include filling and rotating cases and displays, assisting with receiving products and merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. This role requires teamwork to ensure an awesome store experience.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age

- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to problem solve customer questions and/or concerns (may need to call a manager)
- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep our shelves full
- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to help maintain a clean and safe store
- Individuals applying for this position should be willing to work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome store
- Frequent walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling
- Frequent repetitive motion: turning, bending
- Frequent operation of equipment including: scanner, register, telephone
- Frequent judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, basic computer skills
- Frequent extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces
- Occasional climbing ladders
- Occasional math/calculation
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a liquor store
- Knowledge about wine, beer, and food pairings
- Understanding of municipal/state/county/location carding laws
- Experience creating displays, filling the cooler, and stocking shelves with accuracy and enthusiasm
- Motivated to grow their career and continue learning
