About The Position

Evergreen Co-op is seeking a Liquor Clerk to serve members and customers with products and services. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, operating the till, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and orderly location. The position requires adherence to company policies and participation in the Health and Safety program. The company is a member-owned cooperative focused on serving individuals and communities, with profits returned to members and reinvested in the local economy.

Requirements

Organizational skills and great time management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must obtain Proserve certificate within a month of hire date
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work permit.

Liquor product knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
Being dependable for all scheduled shifts
Developing a good understanding and operating of the till
Assisting in packing customer purchases at the checkout counter
Stocking shelves as required and make necessary deliveries
Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program
Completing any other duties as assigned
