About The Position

This position is for a Liquor Clerk I at the Camrose Liquor store. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a well-merchandised department, and handling inventory stocking and counts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with government standards and AGLC regulations, completing training, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position requires the use of computers and involves heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Valid ProServe Certification
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
• Previous experience in customer service is an asset
• Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence , Community)
• Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers
• Quality communication skills

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
• Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department
• All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
• Compliance with government standards and AGLC regulations that apply to the Camrose Liquor store
• Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
• Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
• Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards.
• Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
• Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
