This position is responsible for maintaining the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. It involves providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company's products and services. The role also includes maintaining merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Additionally, the cashier will operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain cash registers and lanes to reduce shrink. A key responsibility is following company and legal policies and procedures for liquor sales, including securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing required documentation.
