About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. It involves providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company's products and services. The role also includes maintaining merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Additionally, the Liquor Cashier maintains the sales floor in the Liquor area according to company policies, handles claims and returns, zones the area, arranges merchandise, and identifies shrink and damages. The position operates hardware such as cash registers, processes member purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. It also involves maintaining cash registers and lanes, reducing shrink by stocking supplies, and following company policies for identifying concealed merchandise and meeting frontend performance goals. Finally, the role adheres to company and legal policies for Liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps following proper forklift spotting procedures following company steel standard guidelines and correctingreporting unsafe situations to management
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member identifying their needs assisting with purchasing decisions locating merchandise resolving issues and concerns and promoting the Companys products and services
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise setting up cleaning and organizing product displays removing damaged goods signing and pricing merchandise appropriately and securing fragile and highshrink merchandise
• Maintains the Sales Floor in Liquor area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns zoning the area arranging and organizing merchandise and identifying shrink and damages
• Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment processes member purchases and assists in payments returns refunds and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types
• Maintains cash registers and lanes and reduces shrink by stocking register supplies and box bins following Company policies and procedures for identifying concealed merchandise and making an effort to meet frontend performance goals
• Follows Company and legal policies and procedures for Liquor sales by securing merchandise maintaining signage verifying Member identification and completing and maintaining paperwork forms and required documentation
