About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the safety and presentation of the Liquor area, providing excellent member service, and accurately processing transactions. The role involves adhering to all safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements for liquor sales. Associates are expected to embody company values such as Respect the Individual, Act with Integrity, Serve our Customers and Members, and Strive for Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
  • Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Maintains the Sales Floor in the Liquor area in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Maintains cash registers and lanes and reduces shrink by stocking register supplies and box bins.
  • Follows Company and legal policies and procedures for Liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying Member identification, and completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and required documentation.
  • Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
