About The Position

FoodScience LLC is looking to hire a full-time Liquids Batch Technician to join our Liquids team in Williston, Vermont. This role is for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work, takes pride in getting things right the first time, and understands the importance of quality and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork, and following established processes matter.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and 2–5 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, batching, blending, food, supplements, or a similar environment.
  • The ability to follow detailed recipes, procedures, SOPs, and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail when measuring ingredients, completing documentation, and following production requirements.
  • The ability to identify problems, gather information, and make sound decisions.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, sanitation, and doing the job right the first time.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and help train or support other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Batch raw ingredients into finished bulk product according to established recipes, SOPs, and production requirements.
  • Select and use raw ingredients following FIFO principles.
  • Accurately measure and handle ingredients to ensure batches are produced correctly the first time.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in accordance with FoodScience, FDA, and SQF requirements.
  • Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and ready for use before beginning production.
  • Follow established sanitation procedures for equipment, materials, and the batching area.
  • Follow applicable SOPs and cGMP requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor your work for quality and accuracy while taking steps to minimize waste and avoid unnecessary rework.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and overall batching processes.
  • Support and train less-experienced team members on safe and effective batching practices.
  • Assist with bottling and packaging activities when needed to support the broader Liquids team.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are properly shut down and secured at the end of the shift.
