About The Position

The Funding and Investments Snr Analyst will support Citi Treasury Investments Office (CTI) and drive the production needs and lead various workstreams related to investment of Citi’s major liquidity portfolios. The Rates Portfolio Management team within CTI has responsibility for short-term funding, global USD cash pooling, legal entities’ money position and funding.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Treasury and Investments or Financial Sector
  • Understanding of Basic functions of Treasury, Funding, Investments and Markets.
  • Strong Technical problem-solving skills and ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, passion for results and personal accountability for achievement.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to monitor the Central Bank balance for USD, including intraday liquidity management activities to ensure the firm’s cash position meets internal and regulatory objectives.
  • Provide analytical support and assist CTI as a central hub to consolidate USD Cash from various Citigroup businesses and provide liquidity to legal entities and Citibank branches through money market transactions.
  • Exposure to and cross-training for all activities related to money position management for USD at the Bank, including intraday liquidity monitoring and end of day FRB account close
  • Work on forecasting, monitoring and analysis of global USD flows including forecast of Citigroup total cash levels and required cash balances
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key business, technology, and operations stakeholders to eliminate delivery and execution obstacles to ensure change throughput is optimized.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure.
