About The Position
Reading Truck is seeking a Liquid Painter to join their team. In this role, you will work together to complete the painting of specialty truck equipment. Experience is required from tech school, industry, or personal hobby. You will make an impact by working alongside experienced professionals in a high-volume, quality-focused shop that fabricates commercial and fleet vehicles. Requirements
- Experience required from tech school, industry or personal hobby
- Must be willing and able to wear all require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces as needed by sanding and grinding
- Mix, thin, and adjust spray equipment for proper atomization
- Mix paints and primers to exact specifications ordered by the customer
- Apply coatings per recommended thickness
- Quality inspection process for units and parts scheduled to be painted
- Quality inspection on painted units
- Operate paint spraying equipment including pot guns, compressors etc.
- Ensure craftsmanship meets Company quality standards
- Follow all Company safety rules and policies
- Maintain records on paint
- Complete a full and half face fit test- pre-employment
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
