Requirements

  • Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and/or 1-2 years of related work experience to demonstrate the skills needed to install and remove petroleum equipment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Class B CDL with Hazmat or ability to acquire is essential.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
  • Ability to work hours other than those considered normal.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and adjusts fuel equipment and cleans and lubricates parts, checks fluid levels and replaces filters in order to improve performance.
  • Maintains freshly painted tanks and trucks with fresh logos and properly identifies tanks that need refurbishing.
  • Delivers, installs and removes petroleum equipment for customers. Schedules efficiently to achieve a cost-effective maintenance and repair schedule.
  • Maintains warehouse and premises in a clean, organized and safe condition at all times.
  • Responsible for monitoring the equipment inventory levels, organizing orders, and the receiving of parts and equipment.
  • Provides general labor, including good housekeeping and operates equipment safely and efficiently inside and/or outside the facility.
  • Works with Microsoft Office programs and other proprietary software to process electronic orders, scheduling, inventory and other tracking and communication responsibilities.
  • May be required to maintain image standards of all loaned storage and pumping equipment.
  • Follows company policy on Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
