Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Experience with NFS, AD/LDAP integration, Web Servers, certificates, LVM, VMware, Linux security hardening, Red Hat Satellite Server, Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud deployments, configuring storage over Fiber Channel
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance Level
  • Works independently under limited supervision
  • Possess current DoD IAT II Level certification
  • US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
  • Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects
  • Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
  • Oversees highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
