About The Position

This role is for an innovative and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. The team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux instances across multiple networks and architectures. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on Linux administration and scripting automation experience, with knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies being a plus. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a small team, a drive to automate processes, and a willingness to think creatively to find solutions.

Requirements

Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD.
Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA).
Strong Linux administration experience including configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.
Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
