We are looking for a System Admin who is Linux focused. This is an onsite position in Richardson, TX. You will work with one or more of the following Linux-focused technologies: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu Server, Configuration management and automation (Ansible preferred), Virtualization platforms, Server hardware and system services, Networking and storage technologies, Backup and restoration tools. You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross-functional team. You will build strong working relationships with customers and peers. You will assist in driving escalations to resolution across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support levels. You will participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE). You will use your technical knowledge and Linux experience to facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets. You will support the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Linux solutions for assigned projects. You will contribute to automation, hardening, and operational stability efforts across the Secure Labs environment. You will foster relationships with your DT peers across the domestic U.S. You will learn how to communicate effectively to Engineering leadership. You will learn how to provide ROI based on project performance. You will learn how to apply your Linux knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with evolving or loosely defined requirements.

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• DoD Secret Clearance is needed day one.
• Linux Systems Administration (RHEL and Ubuntu required).
• Server administration and virtualization technologies (VMware, etc.).
• Networking fundamentals.
• Compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53).
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+).
• Ability to obtain a Collateral Secret Govt. Security Clearance, up to Top Secret.

Nice To Haves

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Active certification preferred for IAT Level II.
• Active clearance preferred for Collateral Secret Govt. Security Clearance.
• Linux administration certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Automation / configuration management certifications (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
• Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
