We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
Must possess an IAT-I certification, such as Network + CE or Security + CE.
Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
Experience in network or system administration.
Strong Linux experience
Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with SELinux and FIPS
