Requirements

Must have a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
A Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems administration experience.
OR A High School Diploma or GED and five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
System Administration experience with CentOS 7, Rocky 9, and RHEL 9.
Upgrading servers, workstations, laptops.
Experience with the Customer Secure the Enterprise (STE) tasks.
Experience with the Customer data transfer process.
Hardware installation experience (servers/workstations).

Responsibilities

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, and mobile devices.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
