Requirements

  • Must have a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems administration experience.
  • OR A High School Diploma or GED and five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • System Administration experience with CentOS 7, Rocky 9, and RHEL 9.
  • Upgrading servers, workstations, laptops.
  • Experience with the Customer Secure the Enterprise (STE) tasks.
  • Experience with the Customer data transfer process.
  • Hardware installation experience (servers/workstations).

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, and mobile devices.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
  • Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
  • Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
