About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our Linux servers and Google Pixel devices. This role involves hardware and network management, inventory oversight, and ensuring smooth lab operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Linux server administration, networking, and experience with Google Pixel devices, along with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Monitor server performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot server issues.
  • Implement backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Automate tasks through scripting.
  • Set up and maintain network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems.
  • Configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Maintain network security.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of Google Pixel devices (phones, watches, buds).
  • Configure and optimize devices for various testing and development scenarios.
  • Ensure devices are up to date with the latest firmware and software.
  • Manage device inventory, including tracking assets, performing regular audits, and coordinating repairs or replacements.
  • Oversee the inventory of lab equipment, including hardware, software licenses, and consumables.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory items and their locations.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
  • Implement efficient inventory management processes and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to lab users.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth lab operations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.
