We are seeking an experienced Linux professional to manage, maintain, secure, and enhance our Linux-based infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments. This role consists of operating system installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, backups, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management. Additionally, you will be developing and improving tools, as well as maintaining technical documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes. You will work closely with cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain secure and reliable systems while supporting organizational and DoW cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience administering Linux servers with RHEL and Ubuntu
  • Strong understanding of Linux security and system administration
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and common network services
  • Experience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, or NIST 800-53 environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Linux/AD integration
  • Must have the ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance
