About The Position
Seeking an Intermediate Linux System Administrator to support the administration and maintenance of an operational Cross Domain Solution (CDS) environment. Responsibilities include routine monitoring and maintenance of systems, implementation of updates and tasking requirements, and providing break/fix support as needed to maintain operational availability. This position includes an expectation of occasional after-hours or weekend support in the event of critical system issues, averaging approximately four hours per month. Availability and planned absences can be coordinated with program leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Training in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Minimum of three years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
- Knowledge of Apache NiFi components and configuration
- TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- Routine work within sensitive compartmented environments may be required.
- Candidates must be eligible to meet background investigation requirements applicable to privileged system administrators.
- Ability to travel for periodic training and support requirements
