About The Position

abra Professional Services is seeking a Linux System Administrator to design, install, and support Linux servers (physical and virtual). This role involves ongoing system administration tasks such as OS and application installation and upgrades, server performance tuning, storage connectivity configuration, security hardening, troubleshooting, and scripting. The administrator will also install and support physical Linux servers in Cluster configurations using Veritas Cluster, and design, deploy, and support OpenShift Kubernetes platforms with automation using ArgoCD. Additionally, the role includes installing and supporting the Kong API Management platform and implementing automation processes with Ansible.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a Linux System Administrator role (with a strong focus on Red Hat OS) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience writing automation processes using Ansible – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience maintaining Kubernetes platforms – Mandatory.
• Ability to manage tasks independently מול internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work beyond standard business hours (including on-call shifts and standby).
• Willingness to work rotational Friday shifts when required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite, and JFrog – Advantage.
• Experience working with distributed systems, including storage, backup, monitoring, and networking components – Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, installation, and support of Linux servers (physical and virtual).
• Perform ongoing system administration tasks, including OS and application installation and upgrades, server performance tuning, storage connectivity configuration, implementation of security hardening, troubleshooting, scripting, and more.
• Install and support physical Linux servers in Cluster configurations (using Veritas Cluster).
• Design, deploy, and support OpenShift Kubernetes platforms, including implementation of automation processes using ArgoCD.
• Install and support Kong API Management platform.
• Implement automation processes, including writing Roles and Playbooks using Ansible.
