You will be expected to take ownership of systems, contribute to automation strategy, and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

10+ years of Systems administration experience with RHEL and Ubuntu including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting and distribution upgrades.
8+ years of Ansible Core: Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation creating playbooks, roles, inventories and collections.
5+ years of Scripting: Create Python and Bash scripts when needed to implement logic not handled natively by playbooks and interaction with Microsoft applications and IBM cloud platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant certifications such as: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) – a Must
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) - Must
Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
IBM Cloud certifications
Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MySQL a plus.
IBM i experience is a differentiator.
IBM i experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Linux Systems Administration: Extensive experience with RHEL and Ubuntu, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and distribution upgrades.
Automation using Ansible Core: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automation using Ansible Core, including development of playbooks, roles, inventories, and collections.
Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash to implement advanced logic not natively handled by Ansible.
Experience integrating with cloud platforms, including Microsoft cloud-based applications and IBM Cloud.
Documentation: Ability to create clear, structured, and reusable documentation for automation workflows, operational procedures, and system configurations.
