About The Position

Senior System Administrator, internally known as Senior Analyst, Information Workplace Services, collaborates with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. The candidate is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Linux infrastructure for classified programs. In addition, this candidate will support numerous lab environments on workstations that interact or control STE (Special Test Equipment). Candidate must be experienced with, but are not limited to, server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and workstation support. This position is 100% onsite location in El Segundo, CA.

Requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience supporting Linux operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory, VMware, Administration, backup and recovery.
Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
Integrated AD authentication (Kerberos, LDAP and/or Centrify).
Experience with SMTP, DHCP, DNS, NIS, LDAP, CIFS, NFS, Samba and NIX system security.
Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products like Symantec NetBackup.
Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities (e.g. Antivirus).
Experience with HP server hardware support and diagnosis.
Experience with HP storage hardware support and diagnosis.
Experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc).
Experience with Storage – HP MSA, RAID configuration.
Experience with Window Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy.
Experience with Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods development.
Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
Scripting Experience.
