About The Position

This role involves the installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components within a physical/virtualized Linux environment. Key responsibilities include deploying and migrating applications and Oracle databases, administering and resolving failures on Linux systems, writing and troubleshooting Linux shell scripts, performing fault finding and analysis for performance reporting, proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning, and managing software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment
• Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers
• Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases
• Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems
• Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts
• Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers.
