About The Position

TEKsystems is looking for a Linux Engineer that has experience with designing, building, and testing automated Linux/RHEL OS provisioning for the Internal Cloud. This position will be assisting with the Linux system upgrades. Candidates must have experience with Ansible, RHEL, the ability to engineer a solution and to write code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform, systems, or infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on automation and integration.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering automated RHEL provisioning for on-prem or internal cloud environments.
• Strong Linux Server administration expertise (OS configuration, patching, roles/features, networking, storage, and security).
• Proficiency in Ansible for advanced automation and desired-state configuration patterns.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems and cross-platform automation.
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible or similar), and scripting with Python or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, validation, and deployments.
• Must sit onsite 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC.
• Must be able to engineer a solution and write code.
