About The Position

Join our team to help create mission-critical systems that keep people safe. As a Linux Integration and Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in configuring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless integration of various hardware and software components. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology to maintain operational readiness, optimize system performance, and ensure security compliance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree, plus 6 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required; plus, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS (Red Hat, PitBull) for integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Extensive experience with virtualization and managing virtual environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • A minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at the time of hire: e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security.

Nice To Haves

  • Senior level experience in Linux OS and automation tools (Ansible, Satellite, Ansible Tower/AAP).
  • Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to team projects.
  • Driven to pursue continuous improvement and stay updated on technology trends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system integration, testing, and validation processes for new capabilities and regression use cases.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, operating systems, application software, network interfaces, and storage solutions.
  • Develop Ansible playbooks for patch management and software updates, enhancing automation and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system integration and performance.
  • Manage system changes and new capabilities from development through deployment to the production environment.
