About The Position

This is a 1-year contract position for a Mid-level Linux Engineer who is bilingual in Korean. The role involves maintaining UNIX and Enterprise Fedora-based Linux Platforms (Red Hat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux). Responsibilities include managing patching, upgrades, migrations, and virtualization, as well as monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting servers. The engineer will also provide installation support for Production, Development, QA, Test, and Disaster Recovery systems, monitor systems for performance, respond to issues, and support changes. Asset tracking and updating for maintained systems are also part of the role. The position requires 24/7 readiness to support responsible UNIX/Linux physical and virtual servers.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or Professional
  • Hands-on experience with bare-metal physical servers required
  • Experience working in a 24/7 Data Center
  • Hands-on experience on Linux Distribution Platforms (RedHat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Rocky, etc.)
  • Storage configuration experience from UNIX/Linux OS
  • Proven experience & ability on Linux opensource applications’ deployment
  • General troubleshooting of Linux system log analysis
  • Experience on Dell PowerEdge and Oracle x86 servers
  • Heavy hands-on Bash, script experience
  • Korean Bilingual Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a UNIX Engineer is a plus
  • Experience with Red Hat Clustering (Pacemaker/Corosync) technologies a bonus
  • OS Clustering on any UNIX/Linux OS is acceptable
  • Experience on Oracle Exadata Appliance is a plus
  • College Degree preferred or equivalent experience & certification
