Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years related experience in Software Development.
  • Experience with one or more: C++, Java, and Python programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Linux operating system concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps Software Development process environments.
  • Strong communication and teaming skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support customer meetings, demonstrations and integration/installation/interop testing events.
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Be able to reside in the Indianapolis area to support lab testing and other team events.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity of Networks (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Virtual Machine Environments and containers
  • Familiarity of one or more Agile techniques (LeSS, Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, eXtreme Programming, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Secure Coding techniques.
  • Familiarity with Automated Testing and Automated Test Framework.
  • Current/active DoD Secret level or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Development, integration, test, and documentation of software for NSI products.
  • Integration and testing in a state-of-the-art lab.
  • Working in an agile environment and cross functionally.
  • Developing software, tailoring reusable software, and integrating software components on virtual machines and the target hardware.
  • Contributing to maturing and improving processes and products.
  • Adherence to coding standards and best practices, and configuration management of all code.
