About The Position

The Amatriot Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding. Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below.

Requirements

• Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
• Experience navigating Linux Command Line
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent / higher)
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, Kubernetes
• Experience or understanding of Cloud in a Box Solutions
• Experience with Ansible and Scripting

Responsibilities

• Workstation and Server support: Local Linux Desktop support
• Support local and remote �Cloud-in-a-box� infrastructure (Nutanix)
• Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)
• IPA Puppet Documenation
• Network Support: Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure
• Support/troubleshoot local network issues
