About The Position

The team is moving its mid-level engineers into a new patching group. This environment is comprised of RHEL, Centos, and oracle redhat. This person must have very good Linux and Unix administration skills and the ability to write bash scripts. They will sit in the real time systems team. Highly regulated. They must have strong Linux engineering skills. Any flavor is ok, but RedHat preferred, must have Ansible playbook experience. Must have bash scripting experience for automation when ansible is not able to be used. Linux administration and operational support, both project and operational support. This is a Linux admin role. We are looking for a mid-level resource. 3 to 5 years. They will be responsible for both project and operational support. They will need to have excellent communication skills and have experience driving root cause analysis calls. Overall knowledge of Network, apps support and hardware support also needed. This is not a hardware position but working with those teams is critical. Person must have the ability to work within a high compliance team. Documentation skills a must. They are looking for someone that will be able to grow with the group. Recent grads with 3 years experience may do the job, but must have some enterprise experience.
