About The Position

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Linux Administrator to support Public Sector Solutions in a government customer site environment. This role involves designing architecture, developing solutions, and working within a hybrid cloud environment. The successful candidate will join a small, talented team responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux instances across multiple networks and architectures. The position requires a motivated individual with hands-on Linux administration and scripting automation experience, and knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies is a plus. The candidate must be a team player with a desire to learn and grow their skillset.

Requirements

  • Some Linux administration experience configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and/or service owners.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Compliance with DOD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level I (A+, CCNA-Security, NET+, SSCP, Security+).

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on Linux administration and scripting automation experience.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ability to create, debug, and implement Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
  • Knowledge of AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
  • Knowledge of aws-cli and boto3.
