About The Position
The Linen Services Associate supports hospital operations by ensuring the timely distribution, collection, and processing of linens throughout the facility. The role helps maintain adequate inventory levels while promoting a clean and organized work environment. This is a full-time mixed/rotating shift position at Samaritan Hospital.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of linen or related healthcare support experience.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport linen carts throughout the facility.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Fold and organize linens.
- Fill linen carts to established par levels and deliver them throughout the hospital.
- Restock linen shelves in assigned departments.
- Collect and transport soiled linens from various hospital areas.
- Fold scrubs and load scrub machines.
- Build Operating Room (OR) packs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized linen department.
