About The Position

This is an early morning position. Applicants should be comfortable starting work at 5:00 AM, arriving on time, and working in a fast-paced hospital environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role. The purpose of this role is to provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. The Linen Tech is responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital, providing a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Be on time.

Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies.
Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise.
Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts.
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.

Responsibilities

Fill and move carts to assigned areas within the hospital.
Provide a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner.
Meet quality and safety standards.
Cross-train in other positions per facility needs.
Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit.
