About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite position at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Applicants must be available to work every Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The purpose of this role is to provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. The Linen Tech is responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital, providing a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner, and meeting quality and safety standards. The role also involves cross-training in other positions per facility needs.

Requirements

Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts.
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
Reliably work Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Be able to commute to the facility.

Responsibilities

Fill and move carts to assigned areas within the hospital.
Provide a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner.
