About The Position

The Linen Tech is responsible for providing quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role involves filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital, ensuring a superior level of linen service throughout the facility in a friendly and timely manner, and meeting all quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts.
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.

Responsibilities

Fill and move carts to assigned areas within the hospital.
Provide a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner.
Meet quality and safety standards.
Be on time.
Have excellent attendance.
Meet established hospital standards.
Follow all company safety rules.
Work well with a diverse workforce.
Follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies.
Work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise.
Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit.
Cross-train in other positions per facility needs.
