Linen Tech Lead - Royal Oak
About The Position
This is a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity designed for individuals looking to grow into management. Training will begin on first shift, followed by several weeks on second shift to learn all aspects of the operation before transitioning to the permanent mid shift schedule. Applicants must be flexible during the training period and willing to work different shifts as needed. The purpose of this role is to provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. The Linen Tech Lead is responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital, providing a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner, and meeting quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
- Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
- Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics

- Order linen and communicate with the laundry plant in manager absence
- Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit
- Cross-train in other positions per facility needs
