About The Position

This position is for a Linen Room Attendant in Environmental Services at Central Regional Hospital. The primary purpose of this role is to perform day-to-day activities in accordance with policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations governing Central Regional Hospital, ensuring the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner as instructed by the Linen Supervisor/Administrator I of Environmental Services. This is a support position designed to meet the sanitation and safety needs of patients, staff, and visitors. Central Regional Hospital (CRH) is a State-of-the-Art psychiatric hospital located in Butner, NC, offering an ideal location with four seasons, mild temperatures, and an easy commute to the N.C. mountains or beaches. Butner combines small-town charm with proximity to a major metropolitan area including Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Durham, NC. Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Education and/or experience in a commercial or institutional laundry that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade
  • Adhere to the facility's Vaccination Policy
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal record background checks

  • Knowledge of laundry duties and ability to carry out procedures and policies as job indicates

Responsibilities
