About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Linen Operations Manager for NYC Health & Hospital at Bellevue Hospital located in New York, New York. This is a large Multi Hospital System for Linen Distribution overseeing a team of 20. This will include various shifts & weekends. We are seeking a Linen Manager for Bellevue Hospital to oversee and directly manage linen operations within a designated account. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, distribution, and quality control of all linen services. Take charge of essential operations within laundry, engineering, or transportation services, ensuring smooth daily workflows and compliance across the board. You’ll lead, develop, and support teams while fostering a safe and efficient work environment that meets regulatory standards and drives cost-effective results. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Requirements

Experience managing or supervising teams in a fast-paced operational environment
Background in operations management with a focus on efficiency and quality
Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
Solid financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams to achieve goals
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Management Experience: 0-2 years
Related Experience: 0-2 years
