Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, twist and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a repeated basis.
- Must be able to move heavy carts (up to 400 pounds) and operate other mechanical equipment.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- A minimum of one year linen distribution/handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receives, processes, and provides quality linens to patients and allied health staff throughout Mayo Clinic Hospital in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operates equipment safely and in accordance with operating instructions.
- Utilizes computer and or hand held units for tracking linen.
- Monitors linen and physical area for cleanliness.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
