About The Position
Responsible for securing and distributing clean linen throughout the East Campus to all appropriate departments. Monitors linen requirements and is responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in the linen department.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Should have the ability to read, speak, and write the English language, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Valid Drivers License with no points.
Nice To Haves
- Previous linen distribution experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Able to properly load exchange carts.
- Delivers clean linen to all designated departments in a timely manner.
- Maintains work area, equipment, and carts in a clean and orderly manner.
- Practices Infection control standards.
- Performs inventory count.
- Secures quantities of scrub suits for assigned departments.
- Communicates effectively with contract service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Secures soiled linen for pickup.
- Prepares clean linen for delivery to West.
