About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Lineman to join their High street facility in Hanover, PA. This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in keeping production moving efficiently by supporting packaging operations, inventory movement, and trailer coordination. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, stays active throughout their shift, and is part of a team that keeps products moving from production to warehouse.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing physical work and lifting up to 80 lbs regularly
• Willingness to learn equipment, inventory systems, and production processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Flexibility to support operational needs and changing priorities
• Basic math and reading skills
• Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on the job training
• The ability to prioritize workload to satisfy all production requirements
• Requires a forklift operator’s license
• Requires the ability to operate a hand jack and life up to 45 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or production experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Move finished product throughout the facility and warehouse areas
• Pull orders and assist with loading trailers for shipment
• Coordinate trailer movement with local and surrounding facilities
• Pack products into cartons, cans, and specialized containers
• Deliver materials and supplies to production lines as needed
• Place cardboard skids at packing stations and work areas
• Transport packed product to warehouse locations using hand jacks
• Scan finished products into inventory using scanning equipment
• Record waste and production information at the end of each shift
• Set up and operate barrel labeling equipment
• Support production operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety standards and immediately report safety concerns
