About The Position

TSX Fiber Services LLC designs, builds, maintains, and restores fiber optic networks and critical telecommunications infrastructure throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Lineman Technician will be responsible for supporting telecommunications construction crews by performing ground hand duties, maintaining clean and properly stocked vehicles and worksites, handling materials and cable reels, setting up safe work zones, and assisting with aerial and underground construction activities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required.
General knowledge and experience in construction field required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with trailers/equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with aerial line placement construction crews.
Assist in cable placement operations.
Load, unload, secure, and transport cable reels, and stock company vehicles with the materials needed for daily assignments.
Maintain proper truck inventory and promptly report shortages or damaged materials.
Perform general housekeeping duties, including maintaining clean, organized, and safe trucks, equipment, and worksites.
Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices to establish a safe work zone.
Record information on construction prints and field documentation as directed.
Safely operate a bucket truck while performing and developing proficiency in all related telecommunications construction tasks.
