About The Position

CCFS aims to create an atmosphere where drivers can flourish and progress in their careers. They are seeking safety-conscious, Class A Linehaul Drivers. This position involves transferring freight to specified locations in a timely manner, hooking and unhooking commercial trailers, and completing all required paperwork according to government regulations and company procedures. Linehaul Drivers are home daily with weekends off, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The shift is Monday-Friday, starting at 9pm, with a route from Irving, TX to Perry, OK to Irving, TX, covering 520 miles.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances
