About The Position

Under limited supervision, this role participates in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures. The Line Worker prepares operational analyses and reports to the Line Lead and follows current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations. Employees must complete required hand-repetitive motions to meet Company expectations.

Requirements

  • Employees must complete required hand-repetitive motions to meet Company expectations.
  • Must have proper GMP attire.
  • Must be able to produce quality products.
  • Must be able to move materials for completed products and packages to established locations.
  • Must be able to utilize machinery in the best and proper way.
  • Must be able to break down unused components (cardboard - place in blue bin for recycling.
  • Must be able to clean the line after the run.
  • Must be able to perform bi-weekly cleanings.
  • Must be able to work inside the filling room with proper GMP attire.
  • Must make sure proper components are being used (including Master Shipper Labels).
  • Must perform squeeze on test tubes to ensure the product is not leaking and meets the required specifications.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
  • Ensure all materials and products are properly closed to prevent leaking and meet required specifications.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
  • Cannot give a product from the line to others.
  • Ensure proper GMP is being followed - maintain clean area in production.
  • Responsible for coming to line prepared with proper GMP attire.
  • Produce quality products - no mindless hand-moving.
  • Move materials for completed products and packages to established locations.
